Cerebral Effects

The cerebral effects of etomidate shall be considered singularly, whether they relate to the hypnotic properties of the drug, its impact upon airway reflexes, the cerebrovascular or anticonvulsive effects. The latter is additionally discussed under the side-effect myocloni and the clinical use by electroconvulsive therapy.
